Politecnico di Milano is one of the most illustrious universities in Italy and a top-ranking university globally for architecture, design and engineering. Boasting two campuses in Milan and five in Northern Italy, the university’s Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Observatory also makes it one of the most exciting places to research crypto in the Mediterranean region.

In addition to a wide range of courses offered at the university, from an intensive “Blockchain Bootcamp” that lets students work with the university’s Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering to master programming and design skills and online certification programs for blockchain professionals, the observatory also organizes an annual conference that gathers more than 1,000 business professionals every year to share industry developments.

The observatory, founded in 2018, also runs a Blockchain Innovation and Solutions Hub that “aims to promote, facilitate and enable projects in the blockchain field” by bringing together professionals from various industries.
